Terms of Service

Effective Date: 1 February 2026

1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer", "you", or "your") and A13E Limited, a company registered in England and Wales ("A13E Limited", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of CloudSigma, our automated threat intelligence to Sigma detection rule conversion platform (the "Service").

By creating an account, accessing, or using CloudSigma, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using CloudSigma on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and "you" and "your" shall refer to that organisation.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use CloudSigma.

2. Definitions

In these Terms, the following definitions apply:

  • "Service" means the CloudSigma platform, including the web application, API, and all associated features and functionality
  • "Customer Data" means any data, content, or information submitted to CloudSigma by or on behalf of the Customer, including threat intelligence inputs (URLs, CVE identifiers, raw text), configuration preferences, and account information
  • "Generated Output" means Sigma detection rules, SIEM-specific queries, TTP extractions, IOC analyses, and any other content produced by CloudSigma from Customer Data
  • "Subscription" means the plan and tier selected by the Customer for access to CloudSigma, as described in Section 5

  • "Sigma" means the open-source Sigma detection rule format maintained by the SigmaHQ project

3. Service Description

CloudSigma is an automated threat intelligence to Sigma detection rule conversion platform. The Service provides the following capabilities:

  • Threat intelligence ingestion: accepting input from URLs (threat blog posts, security advisories), CVE identifiers, and free-text threat intelligence reports
  • TTP extraction: AI-powered extraction of MITRE ATT&CK tactics, techniques, and procedures from ingested threat intelligence, including cloud-specific indicators
  • Sigma rule generation: automated creation of Sigma detection rules tailored to specific cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) based on extracted TTPs
  • Rule validation: automated validation of generated rules via the pySigma framework to ensure syntactic and semantic correctness
  • SIEM conversion: conversion of validated Sigma rules to SIEM-specific query formats, including Splunk SPL, Microsoft Sentinel KQL, and Elastic/Lucene
  • IOC rule generation: standalone indicator-of-compromise detection rules from validated network indicators

3.1 AI-Powered Processing

CloudSigma uses artificial intelligence, including large language models, to power its analysis and rule generation capabilities. You acknowledge that Generated Output is produced with AI assistance, should be reviewed by qualified professionals before deployment, and is not a substitute for professional security assessment.

3.2 Service Availability

We will use commercially reasonable efforts to make CloudSigma available 24/7, subject to planned maintenance and circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to CloudSigma if we reasonably believe you are violating these acceptable use requirements.

7. Customer Data

7.1 Ownership

You retain all rights, title, and interest in your Customer Data. By submitting Customer Data to CloudSigma, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, process, and store your Customer Data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of Customer Data you submit. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights and permissions to submit Customer Data and that such submission does not violate any third-party rights.

7.3 Data Processing

Customer Data submitted for processing (threat intelligence inputs) is sent to third-party AI services for analysis. We process Customer Data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not use Customer Data to train AI models. Customer Data is cached temporarily for performance optimisation and is not retained long-term after processing.

7.4 Sensitive Data

You should not submit personal data, classified information, or data subject to specific regulatory requirements (such as HIPAA-protected health information) as threat intelligence input. CloudSigma is designed to process publicly available or organisation-internal threat intelligence, not regulated personal data.

8. Intellectual Property

Generated Sigma rules should always be reviewed by qualified security professionals before deployment. CloudSigma does not guarantee that generated rules will detect all threats, prevent all attacks, or be free from false positives or false negatives. The Service is a tool to assist detection engineering, not a replacement for professional security judgement.
